Hi all.. Need your help please. I had a CS (third child) 4 months ago. 3 hours After the CS i had an internal bleeding from the RT Obturator artery and blood test showed:
HGB 3.4
HCT 10.8
RBC 1.43
PLT 13.00
Just realy need to know how bad it realy was. I felt i was going to die....

The numbers look bad, but without the reference ranges (or units) I cannot tell for sure. I have occasionally encountered labs that produce values well outside normally expected ranges.
Assuming typical lab values the hematocrit (Hct) should have been greater than about 30%. Less than 15% is considered a critical value by Mosby’s (and may result in cardiac failure), so 10.8 is exceedingly low. Mosby’s does state that Hct “values may not be reliable immediately after hemorrhage” and the time in relation to the hemorrhage the blood sample was taken would matter, i.e. it would typically be lower several hours later. I don’t know what caused the original hemorrhage, but you apparently had good emergency care as you likely came very close to dying.
