Internal itching and discomfort following thrush. Help !

Can anybody tell me whether it is normal to have some internal itching after thrush and if so, is there any recommendations to ease it?

I'm a 26 year old female who has recently been using the external and internal creams. The thrush itself seems to have gone but I'm still dealing with internal itching that comes every now and then. I've tried using yoghurt which only sometimes helps, cleaning with Femfresh which doesn't seem to make that much difference and having regular-ish warm baths.

It's really frustrating and sets off my health anxiety so would just like some help in trying to ease it when it comes.

The vaginal itch can sometimes persist after the infection is cleared. Continue using the creams until its completely clear and whatever you do never ever douche it will cause you way more problems.

did you complete the course of treatment? or did you stop once the symptoms stopped? sometimes yeast can be rather persistent. when I get an actual yeast infection I always get another one two weeks after the first cause it sticks around...usually after the second treatment it's gone and I domt have to worry about it. but it definitely sounds like you still have a touch of yeast. if it continues for another 7-10 days see your doctor to make sure it isnt also BV as the two infections like to coexist.
