Internal shingles

I am new here and could cry as my discovery of some of your posts! I feel I belong here!!

I had chicken pox in 12 grade, very stressed in my 20's a rash on my butt with blisters and had a few times in my 30's then dx with ulcers U/C crohns in my colon.at 35years old.

I get this burning down my leg from butt cheek down outer thigh like a bad rug burn goes on for a few days. its painful to touch but there is no rash.

Maybe my issues stem from s a virus because my doctor can never find a bacteria cause to my crohns or UC

I have been scoped , colonoscopy,

but not at the time this outbreak of shingles going on and doctor said no herpe zoster in colon.

I get this burning feeling in leg from buttocks down thigh every few months or during times stress. its like say a bad razor burn if you shaved your when it was dry. running my fingertips over my skin down this line or nerve is very painful.

its usually left side and i have LEFT sided ulcerative colits

I am thinking of just taking valtrex every day 500mg and see how I do.

any suggestions ? have you heard of internal shingles in colon ?
