I have had an irritated bladder for 6 years, but they can't find anything wrong, I keep getting cystitis I feel better taking antibiotics but as soon as I stop it comes back again. Does anyone else have this?

Hi all,
?I'm due to have a cystoscopy for "IC" diagnosis. Pretty sure it all started 2 years ago when we moved back to the UK from Canada.
?Most of the time I had the urine dip test, it was negative......I also keep the test strips at home for flare ups.
?If this urine lab analysis comes back negative, I'll be referred for the cystoscopy, but I'm also going to have some ob/gyn tests done to confirm all round health "down there".

Does anyone know if "IC" is an auto-immune disease, as I've read that experts think its several diseases which is why its difficult to diagnose.
