Intrusive thoughts are back after 2 months. what now?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I started taking sertraline on 7 April and upped my dose to 50mg a week after that. During the first few weeks I had passive suicidal intrusive thoughts which afterwards went away.

Now, they're back with a vengeance and they scare me as I don't want to do anything that would hurt my family.

I'm being treated for depression and anxiety doing therapy and seeing a psychiatrist. Does anyone know how to ward off stupid self-harm thoughts ? Techniques or something

I wish I had helpful advice for you. I am having rebound issues myself but will keep you in my prayers. I do hope you are able to find peace and happiness.
