Involuntariy twitching and brain fog

Today I have felt as if my brain is filled with something; it feels foggy, heavy and makes me slightly giddy. So far it's been eight hours since it started when I woke.

At times I have sat down to meditate, sometimes to rest, and my body starts to twitch involuntarily (this has happened before and only when I sit down as before) - the twitching can be anywhere in the body, and varies from slight to a huge one today which felt like something being quickly pulled from my heart. Sometimes parts of the body will move, like my fingers or legs will jerk. It can happen at night when I lie in bed. My doctor just says, "I have lots of patients with that." and does nothing about it; he says nothing can be done. I have looked on this site at Huntington's Disease and "off legs!" But wondered if anyone had any other ideas.

I am 70 and have diabetes type 2, neuropathy, arthritis, and athesclerosis and my mood has changed a lot in the past couple of years/

Thank you.
