Not sure, I have seen some message of people that have, how long ago was your surgery? I have seen people say they have . You need to consult with someone you are sure really can be trusted.

I have consulted another doctor and he said lasik can be done but it may need yag also because the lens is really wrong. The problem is that if that does not work and yag is done and it does not work I have no chance of changing the lens because one of the risks of doing yag is that it ruins the capsule and lens replacement is not possible. So I am going to see Julielyn doctor soon and see what he says. I did have a refraction and apparently the cataract surgery made my vison go from 20/25 a year ago to 20/60 and now that eye is worse and I now need more astigmatism correction which went from 2 to 6 whatever that means. I cannot wear glasses because I get headaches when I wear them and my tolerance to contacts has changed. You know the worse problem is that according to the optometrist until both eyes are not so different I will continue to have focusing problems ...what a mess. What are the risks of iol exchange? I do not know.

Elizabeth please post what your current prescription is. Saying it went from 20/25 to 20/60 relates only to line on eye chart you can read. Astigmatism too - should be what is on your prescription.

Did the latest doc you saw provide you with a written prescription?

If you could see well a year ago is an indication that your lens was correct at one point. Julielyn was never at one point able to see as IOL was implanted wrong.

You could be experiencing pco which would cause tour eyesight to blur.
