Irregular heartbeat

2 months ago I started having palpitations. My heart skips a beat every 3-6 beats then goes to 25 beats then none for a few minutes.. very irradic.. Anyway, I thought it was the Vasartan I was on and since then have switched meds 2x.. It's a little less but still very uncomfortable. Now, in the last week I have gotten sick with the flu and my heart rate is up in the 90's if I exert myself at all . Has anyone been experiencing anything like this? I do have an appointment with an electrophysiologist, but can't get in till the end of the month..

    Sorry to hear ur not feeling well I can say we are both going through it I have palpitations all day long some extra beats also been to the doctor that deal with the electrical part of the heart had svt had ablation act gone Palps not had another episode study just a few extra beats got a loop recorder put in its been a few weeks nothing found yet still taking my beta blocker helps little not like it uses to gonna have to try different meds again don't like to the other ones I tried made me worse not sure because of act was there at the time so someday I'm OK others feel like I can't breathe  it feels weird  anxiety kicks in got it under control just feel awful been this way and trying to find cure for a year now was like this 10 years ago but meds did the trick this time not having much luck
