Any noise, and tv even bothers me. Seems I can't watch a whole show now. No attention span.

    Hi MrsMerm,

Yes I had that for a couple of years. Horrible as my husband likes his music loud.

Also certain tones almost hurt my ears.

I ended up in a psychiatric unit and my room was right next to the kitchen who began their day about 530 am with rattling cups and cutlery, I ended up sleeping with cotton wool in my ears.

They told me it was due to my depression but I'm thinking maybe it wasn't that.

At its worst I didn't like eating because of the noise of cutlery on plates and it didn't help everyone telling me it was all in my head.

It did stop and no longer a problem.

    About mid way through peri.

At one point it was every little noise bothered me. I haven't watched tv in almost a year. Even people talking to me bother me especially if they go on and on. It's a little better now but not by much.

It definitely bothers me. It just started a few months ago. All of a sudden the sound of people talking to me through the cell phone I cant take. I have to use the speaker phone. And the sound of cutlery is really annoying. I didn't even realize being sensitive to light and sound is a peri /meno symptom.

Yes the itching drives you crazy.

It was everywhere but now seems to be on my lower legs, ribs right side and often after my bath it itches over my stretch marks where the skin is thin.

Worst like I say lower legs shins sometimes I make them bleed where I scratch so much and these days my skin takes ages to heal.

Yeah me too sensitive to light, sound, people talking too much . I get this feeling inside that I want to hit them lol...hoping this sorts itself out.....it's difficult when you really want to see your friends, also very sensitive to others moods and emotions...it's like if my daughter is angry or upset it upsets me too or grates on my nerves, awful but true

It's good to hear some of you ladies are thinking people talk too much (not nice for you I know) it's another thing I had everyone blamed on depression.

I can't stand it when people talk for the sale of talking and are always going on and on about about nothing.

I've been told I make people uncomfortable because I'm so quiet, I'm happy to talk with anyone about anything really, it just seems to me some people like the sound of their own voice.
