Irritated, Burning, sensitive penis skin for 2 months

Hey everyone, I've been having this issue for 2 months now. I have not been to a doctor but plan to be after I get back from my trip. For a little over a year I'd masturbate once a day and sometimes I would get friction burns. They would always heal. Since December I'd masturbate with different lotions and I think thus what caused my skin to be constantly irritated. I randomly noticed a burning sensation around my genitals and it was hard to sit after work. During this same time and even before I was using aquaphor a lot, and up until yesterday I was using man1manoil thinking they would help but I noticed yesterday even aquaphor irritated my skin once applied. I'm 22 years old and have no idea what's going on. Sometimes the burning goes away and comes back. I'm done masturbating forever. The worst part about this is I'm seeing my SO that I haven't seen for a year and obviously we are going to have a lot of sex I don't want this to get in the way even tho iknow it will. I haven't masturbated for 2 months, and don't plan on it ever again. I just want my penis health back. I'll upload some pics later, and I'm going to keep everyone up to date on my journey in case anyone has similar problems. Thanks in advance.

    Jim my friend

When you masturbate you should never you a lotion. Always use a water base lube

All will be fine. Also only wash with warm water...Ken

Thanks Ken, are you sure that this skin irritation will pass?

Yes it should. The lotion irritated the skin.

      Be safe...Ken

    Could this be Linchen?

      hi Jim

I don't really see anything wrong with your penis in that photo

as Ken says try just using a water based lube

I would use a glucocorticoid ointment (like betamethasone) for 5-7 days. all this is not scary. may be allergic to grease
