Irritation/Pain/Skin Changes

Posted , 5 users are following.

I've been experiencing issues for about 4 months now with the feeling and look of my penis. It used to be smooth and regular as far as colour goes, but now is rough and goes between really dry and really moist throughout the day. Ive been tested for all standard STI's twice and all came back negative. Doctors aren't sure the issue, even went to ER because I feel pain located inside the penis on the left side near the glans. They referred me to an urologist that will not see me till November. Not sure if those little, almost blue "lesion" looking things from under the glans have ever been there before... Potentially HPV related? Does anybody have any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Sounds like something similar to im dealing with. No resolution as yet despite lots of attempts to sort. Pain has settled but the discolouration still there. Any idea what led to the change?

Had a protected encounter two months prior to symptoms, that's why i figured it has to be some kind of STI. Despite the negative test results, it still has me doubting it is some kind of coincidence..

I am finding the pain seems to be coming from under the corona and from this line that runs around the left side inside my penis. Anybody have any idea as to what that is?

jake, it sounds like you live in the UK? If so, check out the Main GUM Clinic that you can travel to - most of these are based at General Hospitals, but in some major cities they are based in the city centre, or, the main Sexual Health Service for the REGION in which you live can also be in a city centre.

You go to the largest service that way you are likely to see a Urologist much quicker, or potentially, when you visit. Simply detail to them ALL the issues you have, particularly the pain as this should not be happening

i am actually based in Canada, and unfortunately our sexual health clinic is not taking any patients whatsoever do to COVID 19. when i went to the hospital, a doctor had examined me (somewhat poorly i may add) and didnt find any "visual problem". He did refer me to urologist, but didnt seem to as any urgent matter and hence why it wont be untill November. Im starting to wonder if this is a classic case of Trich, hence the little "line" looking thing from my last photo i posted and the irritation i am feeling inside the penis.

Unfortunately, you need to specialist opinion of a Urologist, or certainly, a Dermatologist may be able to heal with at least part of what you have going on.

Think about what services are available at the moment that you may be able to access sooner - so here in the UK we have Sexual Health Services / STI Clinics and Genitourinary Medicine Clinic's that are based at General Hospitals ....

It seems that this kind of situation is very widespread. I have a dry skin glans with discoloration, but with no pain or other symptoms. I dont know what it is, Ive made all the tests that I could do, but everything come back negative. I just not done yet the Clamidya test. I visited 8 doctors, one said me I have Lichen Sclerosus and gave me steroids creams, but it get my situation worse. After I've seen other 7 doctors that said that I DON'T have Lichen Sclerosus, and that I have to put on my penis nothing, because it would be heal by itself. Without creams and in 4 months Im a little bit better, BUT STILL DONT KNOW WHAT I HAVE. It's crazy no one understand what cause dry glans.
