Is Altered Sensation of Skin a symptom of Kidney Cancer?

I was taken to A&E last weekend, and the consultant said that I have, Altered Sensation of skin, he then asked me if I had problems with my kidneys, I said i have a 6.3cm exophytic cyst arising from my left kidney, have been having blood in wee and poop too about the last 7 months or so on and off, symptoms are getting worse. Am waiting for my appointments to come through so my gp can arranges tests ect.

All I really wondered is, have any of you had this symptom of kidney cancer?

    Hi maybe he was thinking in the terms of diabetic neuropathy which can give altered sensation at the extremities i.e hands and feet.

    Otherwise it would highly unlikely to have altered skin sensation as a symptom of kidney cancer alone.

    Why were you in the A&E in the first place ?

      Hi Jane

      I was taken in with a suspected mini stroke, thankfully it wasn't they did a ct scan on my head, which confirmed it, I do have a brain wink so that's something hehe. Seriously though there were no bleeds so very reasurring indeed.
