At low doses e.g. 25mg It Can help to dull the pain but at a cost because it causes drowsiness. it does not address the root of the nerve pain but instead just masks it. I tried it and hated it. Amitryptaline also used to treat depression at higher does. Personally, I wouldn't touch it

Yes! I was prescribed it alongside Tramodol and it really does help.
