Yes, it's been happening to me and I'm extremely worried. I'm 49 and I've lost 10 kg since March this year despite eating normally and moderate exercise. I'm worried something more is wrong with me than just menopause.

Hi Kim, thank you for reaching out. No gassy feeling or pain in my stomach, but I do get a bloated feeling some of the time. Like you, my appetite has been gone but in the last couple months or so it has got a bit better. I've been eating 3 meals healthy each day because I really want to gain weight. I look terrible now. i was also really constipated but that has improved recently. Fatigue is off the charts. Also joint pains. I got a colonoscopy and I have to get some blood tests for my ovaries. My doctor said its anxiety and referred me to a counsellor but I know its more. My last blood tests showed mild anemia at 11.2 before that it was 11.6. My white blood cell count is also very low and I am worried that, along with the weight loss, might mean some type of cancer. The doctors tell you not to Google but they are not helping me.

I'm definitely in menopause, but I think something else is causing the weight loss. My doctor is concerned too.
