Hi, I had them for a long time. That was the last symptom that vanished eventually. But it took about 4 months. Everything else was gone quicker. Hang in there

Hi dodo, i was an emotional wreck for a long while, i felt either very angry and short tempered with the family or feeling very isolated or in a low mood (not with intrusive thoughts, with me it was just plain laziness) oddly i really didnt mind being isolated. I don't enjoy being in the playground with all the mums at school, cannot stand small talk and i have no interest in having a social life for the moment. thankfully i have stopped being snappy and short tempered with the kids and husband, i would say it took about 2-3 months from feeling rage to a quiet numbness but my low motivation hasn't changed but personally im okay with this for now. im not sure if ive explained anything useful to you but i know im better WITH medication then without weather it has been citrapolram, prozac or serterline. For my childrens sake i must keep trying. All the best - Minnie

Are you on anything now,I had tried prozac , escitalopram, on Citalopram, still feel worked up, what dose of Citalopram was you on, I am 15mg, may change

i was on 40mg citraporlam, it worked really well for me bit mind you i was working from home and not in a busy office. i was on it for about 3 years but couldnt sleep on the stuff, when my son turned 4 and could sleep through the nights the doctors gave me 30mg mirtazapine which is like a antidepressant/sleeping sedative which really knocked me out which was a gift from the sleep gods. Gave birth again, went from citrapolram, prozac and now sertraline, for me citrapolram at 40mg made me worse this time around, not sure why. Honestly i hate switching meds as the wait to see a difference is long. lol.
