Is Clobetasol Ointment good for all/most rashes.

I had mystery rashes on my legs come and go since I was a 12 ( I am now 53) so nothing surprises me. It just never started to get worse till I was in my late 40s when I developed Psoriasis on my calf/ankle . In addition....skin on my my ankle/calf area is super sensitive. For example I once tried my face cream on my leg and I got a sore rash as a result. Face cream works great on my face but leg skin hates it. Again this is just an example on how sensitive my leg skin is.
Two days ago I developed a sore red rash in the same area that looks like the rash I got from the cream years back so that's why I think its an allergic reaction to something. It was a rapid developing rash as if in contact with an irritant. Skin was fine when I got dressed then an hour later it was red and sore as heck and warm to the touch. I do not think it is an infection for I have no cuts or wounds. I use detergent for sensitive skin to clean my cloths. Only thing I can think of is The area near where I keep my cloths I sprayed with bug spray and may have somehow got on my cloths then later touched my skin. Its just a guess.
Its now two days later and the rash is no longer warm to the touch or sore and its faded in color a little. The swelling gone down as well so it appears to be healing. Since it appears to be healing i see no need to see a doctor. I guess I should get down to my question. Is Clobetasol Ointment good for this kind of rash? Should i ask for a refill?
I been using a little bit of everything. I combined Neosporin, Benadryl cream, Cortizone 10 , Clobetasol Ointment all together. I only did this for im running low on my Clobetasol Ointment. This crazy concoction of creams seems to be working but should I ask my doctor for a refill of the Clobetasol Ointment? I cant afford another doctors visit but if Clobetasol is a good route of treatment can ask for a refill without a doctors appointment.
update
