Is Crohn's diarrhoea normally spontaneous?

Hi guys,

I've been finding blood in my stool for the past 3/4 weeks and my stools have been much looser lately. Still awaiting on my appointment with a specialist and doctors dont have a clue whats going on.

I wondered however, i see a lot of people with IBD saying that they have urgent toilet trips etc. - for me, my only urgent bowl movement is in the morning.

I only have 1 or 2 BMs a day normally - 1 when i wake up then a looser one maybe an hour later after i've eaten - then I am fine for the rest of the day.

Does this sound typical of Crohn's? My doctors have been useless on offering me advice here so I wondered if any of you could help me try and get out of this horrible unknown im stuck in

Could be Crohns...my urgencies are usually always in the morning unless I'm in a flare...then its throughout the day but early morning can be Crohns typical. Could be a simple infection down there too. Push for your specialist appointment .

do you tend to follow a pattern? Mine is literally like clockwork, 1 stool when i wake, followed by one after breakfast, every. single. day.
