Is it a herpes, a boil, Syphylis or something else?

So, until about August I was fairly sexually active, always with precaution. And around August 2nd, I noticed what I believed to be a single zit or boil on my groin. I was newly working out at the time, so I didn't think much of it, and I popped it maybe a day or two later. Initially, it was pus - a typical brownish yellow fluid - and then a few days later it drained clear, like a zit. It's honestly never hurt, except for mild irritation when it first came in, but then I noticed it was still there a week or two ago (now almost 9 weeks later), and the redness hasn't gone away (it's a single spot). For a while I was worried that it was herpes, but the lack of pain has me confused. I haven't tried any medicine, but am open to all suggestions. And I appreciate the help! I'm hoping to get tested soon, but it's a hassle without insurance.

having the sore there for more than 2 months makes it less likely to be herpes. try a bacterial cream or acne cream and see if that helps. you should get the sore swabbed and tested. is there any vaginal discharge and is there any other symptoms like groin or genital pain and itching. best of luck

I'm actually a dude here, haha, but I appreciate the help! The part of my groin it's on hasn't bothered or hurt me -- I've tried tea tree oil to no avail, but will try the antibacterial. As for other symptoms, I remember having a sore groin lymphnode for a few hours the day after my last sexual encounter -- which made me panic -- but I also had Athlete's foot at the time (again, from newly working out). So I'm just not sure what to make of it. Hoping to get tested soon!

so sorry jordan is also a typical girl name and i didnt see ut genitals. but yea athletes foot was most likely for the groin lymph node. as for the bump i see hair coming out which seems like an ingrown hair. if it hasnt healed or spread anywhere else it is less likely again to be herpes. that being said if it is just a pimple or cut is should of been healing itself and going away by the second month (8th week) so i would still get it swabbed or looked at and also try tending to it to see if it starts to heal. best of luck.
