    Hi Kurt

do you normally suffer from generalized anxiety? Those symptoms are common with anxiety. However I always recommend following up with your doctor just to have things checked out for your peace of mind.  Anxiety can lower your immune system making you more vulnerable to viruses  and bacterial infections.

The first step would be to make an appointment with your doctor. After that when your tests are OK, then you can start working on managing your anxiety. Speaking with a counselor is very helpful to figure out how to manage the anxiety better.

also listen to some meditations on YouTube for anxiety and stress. They completely calm down my mind and symptoms.

I hope you feel better soon

Hey jan thanks for the reply, i think i do but not this bad, serious health anxiety as of late as i think my time is up..  i have had countless tests and dr visits. Numerous blood work all normal other than one faulty test showing lack of iron and elevated liver enzymes. Numerous chest xrays and ecg's all clear. Holter monitors all okay

    Hey Kurt

Facial pains and headaches is it sinus related?..Sinus trouble. You have alot of symptoms. Anxiety can cause alot of these you mentioned.

Thanks for the reply, id say some is sinus related as i have had countless cold and what not, but its not normal sinus pain, it doesnt hurt or tender to touch just achy

My face is achy too I suspect it's sinus trouble. It feels as though I hit the wall with my face lol.

If that makes sense my face feels hurt. I blame my sinus. Yeah I agree some of it is sinus related.👍

    Hey Kurt

I have gone thru a lot of weird pains and symptoms associated to Anxiety. I have had a numb face, chest pains, tingles in my hands and arms and they would all come and go when I was stressed/ anxious. The bad thing was that it made me more anxious and the pains would get worse.

I have finally talked to my dr and worked out a plan to introduce anxiety meds and they have been really helping.

    Take care.

Hi adam thanks for your reply! I know anxiety can cause a bunch of weird symptoms and im not denying that i have anxiety either i just cant see how it can cause so many problems for me on a 24/7 basis, what anxiety meds are you taking by the way?

Kurt, I am surprised you have dealt with those symptoms as long as you have without getting help. Definitely sounds like anxiety disorder but without the panic attacks. You may want to consider ruling out anything physically wrong with you first by getting checked out at a doctor first. At the very least get the stomach issues taken care of. Stomach issues for me, are a big trigger for the start of other things. Nexeum helps. But see a doctor. Not an easy road.

Hey david thanks for the reply, i have had numerous testing done, blood tests, xrays, gastroscopy, holter monitor, stress test, echocardiogram etc.. all okay.

I do have nexium but havnt really been using it as i never feel like it works. I also suffer from what i feel is angina but idk if anxiety and stress can cause that..

Takes awhile for the nexeum to work. Needs to build up in your system. I had the endoscopy and colonoscopy,  MRI, ultrasound, ekg, X-rays, you name it. So I am with you. The stomach problems tend to go away once you put on weight. At least in my case. The nexeum helps after a few weeks, but you have to keep taking it for it to work long term. Got to keep eating and drink lots of water. Your head has a lot to do with your stomach, believe it or not. Once you start taking the anti anxiety anti depressants (again take 4 - 6 weeks to kick in) you will start to feel better. If you are just starting out on meds, you may want a crutch to get you through until the meds kick in. Kalonipin or xanex eases things. I like xanex better than kalonipin. But everyone has their preference. But talk it over with your doctor and get a therapist it really helps

Oh fair enough i might keep taking it than haha. I think majority of my stomach complaints are probably from not eating enough and losing weight and muscle from doing so. I have seen a therapist but it was getting far to expensive and wasnt helping a whole lot. I do have valium but dont take it very often as its a very addictive drug and i dont want to become reliant on it..

I do drink plenty of water but dont do myself any favour by smoking

I smoke too. Like a chimney these days. I had to force myself to eat, once the meds work after awhile your appetite picks back up and you gain weight. Unfortunately I also have IBS which causes another fear of leaving the home. Fear of using public rest rooms to have a movement or get caught some place with the runs. Again, the nexium helped. You want something a littl faster acting ask your doctor for Omeprazole. Cheaper than nexeum and they usually give you a lot bigger supply per bottle. Try to get some asssistance to keep seeing therapist. You need to talk, to write. Picture your anxiety depression  as a balloon that you just keep filling with air (stress, worries), if you don't let that air out, the balloon will pop. Your not at that point of popping yet, but you are over inflated  so you got to let the air out before it pops. Your body is giving you warning signs. I hope you have a mom or girlfriend or wife as a support structure. I found talking to anyone who will listen to be helpful.  the ER can not deny you help by law. If they think you are a danger to yourself or others they have to treat you. Not saying that's the best way to go, but if it comes to that, it's a way to get the help you need without money. Also, unpaid medical bills does not affect your credit. Just a little info. Not saying to lie. But sometimes you have to take drastic measures to protect yourself and get help especially if you are alone.
