Is It Always Going to Be Like This?

Hi There,

Been "sort of " diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosus, for a year now, dr is not sure. One is, one says no (?) Some lightness in the center, on the perineum, sore, mild redness, no itch. No other bumps, bruises or discharge. As many of you have said, sitting is not good nor are other daily activities. Dr. says steroid does the trick. Not. Hormone cream as well is not helping although at 59 and post menopausal, I guess some atrophy is present. Have tried lots of OTC preparations. Thinking I need a better doctor. Really takes a toll on one's life. Anybody have a similar story?
