I have had all those symptoms. Of course, I had them checked out by a cardiologist. Am ok. I first went to the ER and they ran all the TESTS. Showed no heart problems. I'm quite sure it is fibromyalgia. Always get thoroughly CHECKED FOR HEART PROBLEMS first and foremost. BEST WISHES

Symptoms look like fibromyalgia, please consult rheumatologist for confirmation, I really understand your pain.
Medication which gives relief from pain
Drug composition clonozapam
Drug name Clonotril
Please consult doctor before using this.
For me I got further improvement from supplement " Choline & Inisitol " which you get it on Amazon or Flipkart, this can be taken with doctors prescription.

Fibromyalgia is not isolated syndrome but in connection with many others (GERD - reflux being one of them). For that reason it is also not easy to diagnose. The problem you have is actually dysautonomia, meaning dysfunction of autonomous nervous system. After over 10 years of research, I can tell you that the MDs know almost nothing about it, not to speak about the ways of treatment. If it can help, you are not alone, and we all may only hope that the future will bring some progress in that field.

After having read the posts at many different forums for very a long time, I can tell you that the picture is always the same - the patient feels poorly, the symptoms are different and the number of symptom combinations is large and varied, the GPs are perplexed and even trying to blame anxiety, "all in your head" etc., since they do not understand the situation. Essentially, the underlying cause is always the mentioned disturbance in functioning of autonomous nervous system, which can show itself in numerous different ways (fibromyalgia being only one of them). If you look under "Dysautonomia International" , you may find some more about it, but the research is still with very modest results (if you ask me...). Can you give some more details about how your health issues developed with the time...?

I cant say anything more on this as I am not a qualified person, as Barbara said research is on from many years but till now no conclusion on fibromyalgia cause.
Even I belong to part of research in India under government NIMHANs as a patient they did Research for 1 complete year to conclude is it psychological or neurological problem but final outcome was unknown. I shared those things because noor suffering with pain, please consult doctor rheumatologist or pyschatrist please explain properly about your symptoms, so that it will help you to regulate the pain.
Thanks Barbara and Noor

Hi Noor, I sympathise with you as I have
Similar pains and happenings. I have fibromyalgia but going to doctors I always come out feeling it was a waist of time because they no not what to say. I have been given all the tests but all come back normal so I take it I just got to learn to live with it. It stops one doing what one wants to do a lot of times. Can't really plan a day out because never know how I'm going to feel. Sorry for you, but don't be afraid as your not alone. Best wishes, keep going. Josephine.

It took many years before I was finally diagnosed. After many tests, my Rheumatology doctor did the pressure points test on me. I had pain in all of these places. There are 18 points on your body that have pain when pressed with a certain amount of pressure. You could ask your doctor to conduct this test on you. I hope this helps. It is true, this is a complex disease and doctors don't know a lot about it. I have done a lot of research on the internet and gotten a lot of information from other patients on this forum. It is overwhelming, but when I have good days, I treasure them. Best wishes! Linda ♥

Noor, I can explain reason for pain in a higher level but it will give some clarity of pain due to fibromyalgia but for temporary pain relief you have to consult rheumatologist or better psychiatrist.
Explanation: what ever we eat either it falls under vitamins, protein, minerals, carbohydrates, fats etc in general called as nutrition.
Here protein acts as a major role for body, tissue, nerve, skin, hair, eye, ear, nose ( smell), tongue ( taste), all senses etc almost all in the body in the form of neurotransmitters. There are majorly 5 to 6 neurotransmitters other than this there are 100's neurotransmitter which controls body, so imbalance of neurotransmitters causes all kind of diseases from small allergies to even cancer, here in fibromyalgia also the same case it is imbalance of neurotransmitters which has many problems not only nerve or muscle pain but also hyper sensitivity towards sound, light, taste, weather, for some rashes on skin is found, eyes becomes red, ear ringing, left or right side body nerve pain ( sciatica pain) , server head ache feels more like crushing of brain, wisdom tooth pain, greying of hair, insomnia ( no sleep) , muscle stiffness, irritation, dysentery, cognitive problem, very poor coordination, poor muscle strength cant hold a liter water bottle, excess saliva and many many more.
A doctor Who deals all major types of neurotransmitters are called as psychiatrist.
Even rheumatologist and neurologist deals basic level of neurotransmitters onces they can't handle they suggest psychiatrist.
If you go further on neurotransmitters there majorly 2 excitatory & inhibitor. Under these all neurotransmitters comes sometimes even both combinations.
Now unfortunately there no proper test to identify from which neurotransmitters is affecting for these symptoms of fibromyalgia.
so there is no one single drug or medicine to cure, but these is a chance of trying with major 5 to 6 neurotransmitters in a very low dosage on a trail basis and check. For this doctor should invest lots of time and patience and patient should be able to co operate doctor with frequent visit and telephone communication.
Have hope there are many ppl who are suffering from this. In India itself 10 million per year are diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
Fibromyalgia makes a person lame. I this this is the only disorder which has so many disorders.
Nature can't be sure cruel to so many ppl in the world, I strongly believe there will be a solution in very near future.
Fibromyalgians have hope and faith. It is a bad phase of life cycle and will come out sooner.
