    Hi Michelle,

It is great to hear that you are having surgery; you will not regret it.

The first month is a real learning curve, as you simply can’t eat very much! However, you don’t really want to eat very much, as the tiniest soup fills you up after a few spoonfuls.

If you want to know more about the journey, please read all the posts I have put on my account; you will find them if you click on my threads. I give a pretty detailed account of the first few months.

Good luck, and if you need some more information, I’m glad to help. Good luck, and if you need some more information, I’m glad to help.

absolutely - you are getting over major surgery and your body has to heal plus it is a huge learning curve and your eating regime will be changing as your body adjusts so just when you think you have it sussed something else comes along that you have to get your head (and stomach) around - of course a lot depends on what type of Wgt loss surgery you are having as they all have different pros and cons and what is right for one type of surgery is not the same for another - just st ick 100% to the eating plan your bariatric team advise and you will be fine - good luck -
