You may be correct in assuming it's herpes. Were the lesions painful? Did you have any tests to confirm the diagnosis?
I would also suggest you get tested for other STDs, including syphilis and HIV. Secondary stage syphilis can occasionally look something similar- condyloma lata.

i was diagnosed with syphilis 3 months ago, i got treated took pills i didnt take the pills everday because i dont eat as much. around my 3 month check up it showed up. i got my blood drawn 2 weeks ago and still no call from them . nothing was painful not even when i pee, but why so much discharge?

If you haven't taken the syphilis medication properly, then the lumpy rash may indicate the infection has recurred. You should try to get an injection of benzathine penicillin 2.4 megaunits; this is far more effective than pills!
Syphilis is potentially a serious condition if left untreated, so it's important that you do your best in eradicating the infection as soon as possible! One dose of benzathine at this stage is curative, so please go back to the clinic and show them the genital lumps and the thread to this online post.

they have other antibiotics im allergic to penicillin and amoxicillin as well. i so hope that. that helps you! but this very well could be herpes please see your local clinic
