Is it herpes?

whenever I have sex or masturbate I get these tears on my penis that get swollen but then eventually go down and scab over. Also lately the skin in my penis has been super flaky peeling off. I started using moisturising oil that has kept it from flaking... Recently my girlfriend noticed some cuts on her vagina that started to get worse and worse, she went to the doctor and they told her that it may be herpes. Her test has not came back yet, I am wondering if mines looks like herpes as well? I have not went to the doctor yet but plan to tomorrow. imageimage
