I've been diagnosed with herpes today after I went to see my doctor . This all came about when 3 days ago I was with my boyfriend and he fingerd me but I started to bleed I was freaked out as it was not somthing I expected but he was concerned as to if I was ok ... I thought that he might just have cut me with his nail or went to rough as it was rough / good at times ,we both lost our Virgnites to each other and have had sex twice since that's why it didn't make sense as to why I bled .... It hurts to pee and I got a little brown discharge . When the doctor checked me today I was terrified I didn't know what to expect but I checked myself out before and could find nothing she took a swab test and told me that it's like one little spot and said it was herpes she didn't explain much to me and just put me on tablets two a day for a week . I'm freaked out and I'm afraid to have sex or even if it will come back I don't realise how I got this because my boyfriend has never been with anyone else or had no cold sore

If you have Type 2 then more then likely someone isn't being all the way honest with their sexual past .
If you have type 1 below that is something different
Does your first have any past with cold sores ??
Did you get a swab test or anything done ?
She shouldn't just self diagnosed you .. You need to know for sure .

That's just the bottom line
But what you say doesn't all the way seem like herpes and self diagnosis isn't good because the doctor that was looking at mine wasn't even going to swab me for herpes until I told her too ...
You should definitely talk to him find out what's going on with him and have him get a blood test done if he has no signs of sores
Even tho it might be too early to detect right now ..
It's crazy .
Don't be scared if he is your one and only then he is the one who did this to you !

Worst case scenario, if it is herpes, it's HSV-1 from oral sex. If you have not received oral sex, then that's also unlikely! Fyi, oral herpes (cold sores) can exist in a person without causing symptoms, and when acquired genitally, besides the first outbreak, it's really not that bad for most people.
