I have been having a rough day. I had sex with my boyfriend 9 months ago when I left after I graduated, some time September I had itchiness in my vagina and I ignored it since the place that I went to, i had a lot of allergic reactions to the soap and I was looking for a laundry soap that I have to use without scratching all over my body. So i just let my vagina dry the who time and kept on changing underwear every 2 hrs. then it started to get sore I took a picture of it, and it was like a blister so I just thought of myself maybe I scratched it hard. It healed, then just last month (Feb. 2014) thing again, same place (thinking that I'm not allergic to the soap since after I changed my soap i didn't feel any itchiness in my body) so I went to the doctor, the bump exploded already and the doctor took a look at it and she said it was just a fungal infection. So i was kinda relieved, she gave me an ointment to put 3 times a day. and told me to stop using panty liners, so i did but it didn't heal for a long time. it took me 2-3 weeks for it to heal and  just 2 days ago it healed but today I found another bumps on the other side of my vagina, it's itchy now. I wasn't stress, i didn't feel any fever i am doing fine. I've read about herpes and it says some ppl may not experience symptoms. I took a picture of it just now and can someone tell me if it looks like herpes or something? I just have to post pic of it here, i know you guys will understand but I couldn't stop crying and feel depressed.

Hi angussism, I'm not sure that looks like herpes to be honest. Can you go to your nearest genitourinary clinic and get checked out? You general practitioner is not always the best person to diagnose sexually transmitted infections, if it is that.

In that particular picture, it looks like it could be genital warts, however genital warts have a rougher and cauliflower like and flat surface. Those do look like blisters, but you're missing the redness from herpes. I know all too well, that you can't judge and assume it doesn't look like herpes, so or must not be, as mine didn't look text book either. There's nothing put there that creates blisters down there, aside from Herpes.

Itching is a tell tale sign and getting flu like symptoms happens to people who get a bad primary ob. 85% of people w genital herpes, don't have symptoms or are so mild, they mix it up as a pimple, bug bite, thrush, etc. Those people don't experience getting sick.

You really should go see a gyno, GPs seem to be clueless to herpes.
