Ok so I have suffered with bv for 10+ years. I've tried everything you can name and of course it came back. I just finally got so fed up and tired of spending money on products that really don't work permanently. So I stopped buying and using home remedies putting different products in my body and vajay, because tbh I feel that if the vajay cleanses itself we shouldnt have to insert products in it everyday or take all these probiotics and other useless products to be healthy down below. Then what happens when you cant get the products, all of the bv symptoms come right back!!!. So I was reading a post oneday and it stated to help with bv use water, and thats exactly what I did!! when I took my shower that night I washed with my dove, but this is where the magic happened.... might be TMI but I really want yall to know this.....when I rinsed off I turned around and actually bent over so the water from the shower head was hitting me directly on my anus and I evened opened up my vajay ( enough to where i could actually feel the water hitting my opening)....I have been doing this now everyday when i shower and I don't know if i'm tripping or what but I swear my smell has completely gone and my discharge is even normal its much whiter as before it was more like an off white and it has absolutely no smell.....i really want someone to try this and get back to me with their results plz..this is the only thing I have been doing, i havent been taking any products or inserting anything in my vajay

Maybe it's NOT BV. Have you heard of Ureaplasma urealyticum?
My Gyn tested me and gave me a prescription for Doxycycline. I had an overgrowth of Ureaplasma urealyticum.
Since the antibiotic, I have not had any issues. Also, I have been told for years that I had BV.
There are about 200 types of mycoplasma bacteria, but most of them are harmless. The ones you may have to worry about are:
Mycoplasma pneumoniae
Mycoplasma genitalium
Mycoplasma hominis
Ureaplasma urealyticum
Ureaplasma parvum
Mycoplasma pneumoniae
