Is it normal for male seminal fluid to contain Gardnerella bacteria (the same bacteria that causes G. Vaginalis BV infections in women)? If it is not normal, is it advised that males who are tested positive for Gardnerella (colonization in prostate reservoir) take one of the newer antimicrobial agents to clear it from their system (ciprofloxacin, cerufoxine, or ceftazidine)?

I believe its possible, while vaginas and penises have alot in common they operate in different ways and the vagina has more fluids going out of it. Check with your doctor.
