Is it normal to be slightly itchy all the time?

I've had a yeast infection before with the normal very clumpy white discharge and persistent itch. This was a year ago. I currently do not have the clumpy discharge but have been slightly itchy for a while. Ever since i had that yeast infection, it just feels like I've been slightly itchy all the time. I've had normal changes to my discharge throughout my cycle but there seems to be a persistent thin white clumps around my vaginal area. There is not alot of them. My period starts in about 7 days. I have never had sex. Is anyone else slightly itchy all the time without a diagnosed infection? By "all the time" I don't mean 24/7. It comes and goes.

hi, how does the thin clumpy discharge look ? It could be you had BV . Sometimes it take a very long time to cure your BV as it can come back. Is your discharge smell stronger after your original yeast infection? Like more on the fishy side or just plain off than normal ? Also are you on medication ?

I never went in to get a pap test when I had the infection since it was over the holidays. I briefly spoke to my doctor over the phone once I had already treated the infection with over the counter medication. The medication was effective in getting rid of all the discharge and persistent itchiness. I've never had the discharge come back.

The current discharge kind of looks like hair dandruff. It's a small as those. I don't remember my discharge having any sort of different smell even when I had my yeast infection. I take perscribed ADHD medication daily.

I just don't think there are many diagnosable options since I have never had sex. So it can't be that concerning, right?

      Thank you for your response.

i dont think it is that concerning honestly but just enough to make you question why its like that. Everything else seems fine as you explained there is no difference in smell no symptoms. just the discharge that you think is a little abnormal. It could be related to your medication, You can follow up with your doctor who prescribed it or check the side effects. I honestly dont think its anything to worry about. Unless when you do become sexually active it is effecting your ability to become wet and have sex with out irritation/dryness.

Okay. I think I just want to know if it is possible to be itchy without having any sort of infection or irritation from any products. Does itchiness always indicate a problem or is it the same as a random itch on any other part of the body?

Hey. I have been facing similar issues since my yeast infection a few months back. The itch is not persistent and not present all the time. But as you said it, it comes and goes. Makes me anxious tbh. My reports are negative and sometimes I feel like I am going crazy. Lol.
