Is it okay to rinse eyelids with bathroom tap water?

I have been using a new eyelid gel for my blepharitis and have to rinse it off afterwards. is bathroom tap water okay to use? my house is quite old; built in the 50s/60s. I'm in the UK.

    Yes it should be fine but would be even better if you used boiled water so that any chlorine in the water doesnt irritate your eyes.
