    Hi Maisiemarie

I'm also someone who has health anxiety so quite understand how you might feel.  However, I can tell you that my daughter, at around your age, had exactly the same symptoms during and after her first pregnancy.  It was piles and they eventually cleared up.  If you are not happy with the nurse's diagnosis then go back to your doctor and get her to do a physical examination.  But, my money is on piles which is very common in pregnancy and presents exactly as you have described.

Hello, Im sorry you are going through this. I had this also. Its called hemorrhoids. Basically pregnant women are more likey to become constipated from the swell of you're growing uterus and baby growing ontop of you're rectal. It causes everything to slow down. But the pressure from all of it can cause you're veins there to become swollen and tear a little while using the bathroom. It is normal. You can see you're doctor for a medicine for the soreness and to help move things along so its not straining so much and that will help a lot. If you do not do something with medicine it can get worse through pregnancy and even after birth but it is not life threatening. Good luck and hang in there!
