Is it possible for the first child to be affected by rhesus disease?

My mother is A- and I'm O+, I'm always ill in one way or another. I'm neutrpenic, anemic and suffer from blood clots and migraines. I'm asking because I have chronic pain and have recently been diagnosed with antiphosphilid syndrome and was wondering whether there could be any connection between any of this to rhesus disease? And would a blood test show anything?

A connection to Rh disease seems extremely unlikely. It seems that you simply have your own autoimmune disorder, antiphospholipid syndrome, which is an acquired not an inborn disease. There are other causes for neutropenia/anemia, also, including drug reactions and bone marrow disorders.

There's no blood test that I am aware of for Rh disease in mature Rh+ offspring (you have the antibodies for RhD anyway), and if you suffered from this, it would have been obvious at birth, not decades later.

I'm not an expert but I couldn't find a connection. Also nutropenic seems like something else than antiphosphilid syndrome .

Blood test always help. I'd ask a new Hemotologist Doctor these questions and also have them look you over to be sure that's what you have. Nutropenia and other abnormal blood counts are nothing nice. Never hurts to get a second opinion when dealing with hematology disorders.

    Hope You Are Well
