Is it possible to have both euphoric and dyspeptic hypomania during a hypomanic episode?

After starting escitalopram (Lexapro), I've had major mood changes which my therapist tells me is antidepressant-induced mania (or hypomania in my case).  There are day-long periods where I'm so excited I'm shaking and day-long periods where I'm likely to snap at anyone who even looks at me funny. Has this ever happened to anyone else before? Is this typical for a hypomanic episode?

Okay, as an edit, I meant dysphoric not dyspeptic. That'll teach me to proofread my writing.

    Hi

If your mania is induced due to the antidepressants, you need to be put on mood stablizers also. Either anticonvulsants or antipsychotics

Thanks so much for the reply! My therapist said something about a mood stabilizer but she also said my pcp will want to wait probably at least 2 more weeks to see if the side effect will go away. Do you know if this reaction is indicative of bipolar disorder?
