Is it possible to have more than one anxiety disorder?

I find that I have generalised anxiety as often it can be caused by nothing in particular. But certain situations do increase my anxiety such as social situations or when I worry about my health. is this normal for people with GAD or could it be a different anxiety disorder?

I experience the very same reactions with my anxiety and I as well have GAD.

So it's normal to show symptoms of other anxiety disorders?

Thanks for your comment. I get so confused and I overthink what could be the matter with me which makes me even more anxious lol.

      What are your triggers?

Yes I believe that generalized anxiety is just what Drs call it but you can have multiples types of symptoms. I get very confused because everyday is something different. I also have osteoarthritis so that's the main source of my anxiety.

Oh... I see, thank you. Sorry to hear about your osteoarthritis, I hope you're managing it well, at least you know what the root of the problem is. All the best

I also experience the same things. I have GAD and I get anxious in so many different situations. It's pretty constant actually and one if the things that triggers my aniexty the most is worrying about my health. I am hypersensitive to every ache and pain in my body and convince myself they are something horrible.

Thank you, now I've got a little peace of mind knowing that these are just triggers. My biggest issue is job interviews I'm currently searching for a new job and I cancelled 2 interviews already because of panic attacks and sense of doom. I feel defeated, I just want to get a grip on things.

      Is your health okay?

I've been trying to overcome the very same things. It's difficult to get out if bed much less go out into public for any reason. I try to not think about it but that's very hard.

Hi. I'm glad you say that. For weeks I was struggling to get out of bed and motivate myself to do anything. Luckily, it's improved a little but some days are better than others. I'm just disappointed in myself because I feel like I've lost all control.

I feel the same and have been for weeks. I've been prescribed several diff meds to help me but they don't seem to help completely, only a little. Some days are better than others but the days that are bad I feel like I have no more control.
