Is it possible to have withdrawal symptoms of Zopiclone after 1 night without?

Hi, I have been on zopiclone 7.5mg for nearly a year now and last night I decided to stop because I feel a terrible negative energy in my mind and body every morning and my memory and motivation is at zero. I have no energy today at all and have been crying, I'm agitated and even though I've been doing nothing all day I just can't relax mentally and physically. is it possible to have withdrawal symptoms already? 💛 xx

Hi Kerry, as your post is 4 weeks old, i just hope you beat the crap of this Z-drug poison, I cannot understand how GPs are prescribing it as lollipops, to answer your question, yes after a year course you can get withdrawal problems when you stop taking it, I took it for only 2 months and i had a horrible reactions when i tried to stop, couldn't sleep at all, terrible headache, stomach cramps spoke to my GP about it and she said it will wean off within a week or 2. All I can say to you is do not give, you may suffer insomnia, headaches for few days but then you get your normal life back, it's worth it.

    Good Luck
