Oh bless you, i feel for you and can sympathize, it's awful and does sound like reflux. Can be really frightening too as you don't know for certain what is going on. There are plenty of ideas on here to try to reduce symptoms... lie on left side, probiotic yogurt, tablets from GP which will help, avoid too much dairy, spice etc. I have having some weird symptoms. The gurgling noises are awful, so loud. Can feel the acid travel up into my throat then awful pressure in head and ears. Sharp pain , like an electric shock in chest and in shoulder blade. Legs feel very tired and weak too and much discomfort under breast bone in middle of abdomin . Its all doing my head in. I really hope and pray you get all the answers and treatment you need.

Hi roberta , mostly i am confused thats why i have made so many A&E visits nothing comes out of them such random left arm pains and chest pains that come and go at rest the pain is so woerd too always on the left and ive been taking opemprazole hasnt really helped may be its bile reflux and not acid as they found bile but i havent gotten any tablets for bile reflux as the gp is taking things so lightly and trust me im always frightended that its the heart because its there all the time every day for 6 months .

i also feel suffocated sometimes that feeling is so strange then some times plapitations too and wierd burps loud ones . and not to forget when i lye down i feel like my body is shaking like the muscles . so awful im so confused to whats causing this

I have a lot of the same symptoms. I am in the hospital right now for the 4th time and probably will hear again my hearth is fine. Which will be a relieve, but it is also hard to live with.

I want to burp a lot and already had an intestine surgery when I was a kid, so the problem is probably coming from my stomach. But the symptoms are intense. I feel dizzy regularly, my legs are very weak during times and sometimes I feel like I am not really there. I hear sounds and everything around me, while I have a hard time to keep standing; sometimes only for a minute and sometimes for a longer time. Also my body get very cold with shivers. And that is besides the pain in the chest.

Although I don't wish this to anybody, it is still good to know more people experience intense symptoms from reflux. More people recognize those symptoms also or have some good advices to lessen the symptoms?
