IS IT SAFE TO KEEP TAKING ZOLOFT WHILE PREGNANT ?

Hello, Everyone,

?just wanted to know if any women still took their meds while pregnant ? I want to have another baby in the near future but being on meds helps me function a lot but idk if i can go off it and than start back up again the side effects are not fun i don't think i can go through it again and start over after i have a baby.  anyone have any advice for me? thanks!

    The best thing to do is ask your doctor. Somebody may accidentally gave you the wrong information which would not be good. For you or the baby

      thank you I will . I'm not planning on having kids anytime soon but if I do in the future I want to know if anyone has been on meds while prego .

    You are approaching this at the right time before you become expectant. I would strongly advise you talk to your GP. It may be you will be able to reduce dose, however I do not know if it will effect your placenta.

    To come of the drug will take time your GP will assist regards withdrawal etc

    ok thamks , that's pretty scary to think about I'm barley adjusting to my meds it took a year too. I don't know if I can start over again if I get prego. I just wanted to see if anyone has ever been successful with there meds while prego. but yes I will talk to my doc about it in the future.
