Is it shingles - please help

Glad I found this site.  A week ago I felt very cold and could not warm up.  When I awoke the next day, I had pains everywhere, legs, back and head, I thought it was the flu coming. Three days later I noticed a red rash with raised bumps under my right breast.  It was not until my daughter's friend came round that I had even thought of shingles, her mum had been diagnosed with shingles and had the same symptoms.  I went to the doctor's and he said it could be shingles, but stated that the pains and how ill I felt was nothing to do with shingles. When I asked what it was then he said he did not know, he offered me paracetamol and told me to go back if the rash blistered.  I have no pain in the rash area, but it is very sore. 3 days after the first rash appeared I got another one about two inches from the first which is exactly the same - They are about 3 inch rough circles.  They have not blistered, But the bumps have gone a darker red.  If anyone out there could help I would really appreciate it.  Sorry this is so long, but I have wrote exactly what I told the doctor and am quite worried.

Have had similar experience, confused though about similarities with shingles and giant cell arteritis

Giant Cell Arteritis usually strikes people 50 years and older in their temporal artery, which is located on your right and left forehead above your lateral eyebrows by your scalp. They have a new onset headache with temporal artery tenderness to palpitation. They would not have a shingles rash or pain, but a throbbing headache. They do experience prodromal symptoms such as aching, etc a week or more. To diagnose Giant Cell Arteritis, the physician would order CBC, ESR, & CRP, and perform a biopsy of the temporal artery. This needs to be treated immediately, as it can cause severe complications. I hope this helps.

I keep getting a burning sensation in the right side of my body. I get it in my right arm, right arm pit, shoulder, my upper & lower back. I get pains in my right breast, under my rib cage & my chest, I even get pains in my right hand. When I touch the burning sensation its tender. I've been to the doctors twice in 3 weeks & going again tomorrow. The first couple of times they examined my breasts as I was & still am getting pains in my right breast & they said it's all normal. They checked my temperature & said I had a mild temperature & the pains I was describing sounded like shingles, I have no rash though, but you can get shingles without a rash. They sent me home without doing further tests, this happened twice & im really fed up with it. They keep saying they can't find anything wrong. I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow morning & im hoping they find out what's wrong then as its really worrying me. Also I'm 25 & I've had chicken pox when I was little. I went to the doctors again today & she diagnosed me with something completely different, she said its rotator cuff syndrome, I was expecting her to say it's non rash shingles. I keep getting a burning sensation in my right arm pit & the symptoms for rotator cuff syndrome is pain in your shoulder & outer arm. I feel as though they are not understanding what I'm saying to them & it's really worrying as I always think the worst. I have a blood test next Wednesday not happy that I have to wait over a week for it, but I guess the blood test will definitely say what's wrong with me.
