Is masturbating once a day too much?

Hello everyone,

I am a thirteen year old boy who has been masturbating more or less once every day since I was about 11 and a half. I didn't always get a destinct urge to but it felt really good and helped me relax, so I could not keep my hand away. I didn't ever see anything wrong with this, as far as I can remember I always ejaculated and I was taught that everyone was different. However, after matching a documentry by Tyger Drew Honey I stumbled upon a post which read that the sender had become infertile after masturbating once everyday between the ages of 13-14 (apparently due to his seamen becoming too watery). I realize that there must have been something else going on and everyone else seems to say that it is fine to masturbate however much you like. However, I would like to double check with people I can trust that I am not doing anything bad to myself and that -just from masturbating at the way that I am going- there is no way that I could become infertile.

Thank you very much for your time (I want to be a doctor when I grow up so it's good to know that I may be talking to some now) smile

Hi, Where I live there is a joke that states - If the creator did not want us to masturbate he wouldn't have made our arms so long" lol... To answer your question though - There are many parents in the world that will disagree with the post you referred to. The majority of adolescent males (as well as males of any age)  masturbate as much or more than you mentioned and there are alot of pregnancies to prove that fertility is not affected. Although Not Common, If a person is overly agressive, to the point that it causes extreme pain and injury to any parts of the reproductive system, then this action clould theoretically cause infertility. Also, if a couple is trying to become pregnant, then masturbation should be kept to a minimum to keep the sperm count up in order to have the best chance of insemination. If the sperm count does drop from constant masturbation, it is expected and normal for the sperm count to continually rebuild. From personal experience, some good advice is to be gentile with yourself, use lube and don't rush. Relax and enjoy this natural Gift of Nature... PS: I am not a Doctor, but have lived in a male body my entire life and am pretty sure of what has worked for me - lol... Good Luck and stay focused on your dream of being a Doctor - make it happen.

But is your hand hairy yet??

Back when I was a boy masturbation was called 'self abuse' and was said to give you a hairy hand and would make you go blind.

      How times have changed.

Yes this is a sin and God has clearly stated that we must stay away from things that are lustful and impure thoughts and actions, for which masturbation is a clear case. Also, God punishes those who waste their seed, as described in the bible. Our seed is only meant for procreation not for pleasure. Yes this is absolutely correct from what I have heard that when you masturbate from the ages of 12-17 your sperm becomes permanently depleted and you will never be able to have children even if you want to later in life if you masturbate during this time. Don't listen to the others in this forum who are trying to steer you into the wrong path, as it is a sin and even if not for the religious aspect, in the health aspect masturbaiton is extremely dangerous in case you wish to have children lateri n life. If a girl gives you oral pleasure however, this is the worst thing that can happen, as the bacteria in a woman's mouth can cause your penis to rot and become infected. The only proper way is to have sex with a woman through her vagine and even then, only to make babies, because any other way is against our body's functioning and will cause you to lose your sperm as well. Also yo ushould never ever think about doing anal sex with a woman because again, because of the bacteria your penis can rot and malfunction. You are welcome for this much needed information, and don't listen to anyone else on this forum because they're wrong and I am right. You should only have sex once you are old enough to and can produce a baby. That is that.
