Is medication making things worse?

Hi there

We're growing increasingly concerned about my mother in law, who has an anxiety diagnosis and seems to be having extreme symptoms. She started with a Meniere's disease diagnosis last year after a period of vertigo and shes gone downhill since then. Shes gone from a healthy 67 year old taking no medication, to someone with crippling anxiety. She is terrified to go outside, to have anyone visit (her own family), she thinks she cant use the oven, shes lost her drivers licence. Everything is amplified right now. We are starting to worry that all the medication that has been prescribed in the last 9 months is exacerbating the problem. Shes currently on the following:

Betahistine

Famotidine

Fexofenadine

Mirtazapine

Promethazine

Lorazepam

Pregabalin

This seems like there could be contra-indications here! Does anyone see any red flags at all?

Thank you so much

her medications should be reviewed closely by her doctor or a pharmacist. There are several interactions three of which can increase sedation and drowsiness and four of which have to do with pregabalin interacting with the other medication‘s that can increase the level of the other medication by added drug effects. that seems like a lot of medication she is taking and it should all be reviewed. Hope she can get the help that is needed so she can feel better. Take care

She is even deaf in one ear due to it. She tried many things over the years what she takes now let's her live a normal life.
