Is my anxiety tricking me?

I notice everytime I eat something, like including today when I ate some pizza for lunch, I always make sure to chew my food right and make sure it's enough to not cause me to choke, even when I'm very cautious with how I eat, since I fear on choking on my food one day, which never happened before, as soon as I ate my pizza, I did feel the sensation as if it was stuck in the middle of my throat, but I haven't choked on it ever since I ate it almost an hour ago. Is my anxiety tricking me into believing the food is stuck there? Since I'm letting my fear control me and my mind really thinks something is stuck there when it's not? I hate feeling like this, it happens sometimes whenever I eat something but I'm still breathing and drinking.

it’s 100% your anxiety tricking you. You are most likely paying too much attention to this which is why you can’t seem to get out of this vicious cycle. make it a point each day to just eat normally. Distract yourself by maybe reading something or watching TV while you eat. if you’re breathing, you’re not choking.
