Is my rash an autoimmune rash?

three years ago I began having this reoccurring rash, it always starts out and was diagnosed as possible ivy. I saw an urgent Care Dr and my dermatologist. I was prescribed an oral and topical steroid that didn't help, the rash became worse after 10 days on the steroid and changed the way it looked. it spread to all areas of my body fully covering some areas. the rash in some areas looks like hives, other areas like scratches, it oozes in the first week and then dries up. there itching is excruciating. last year I wound up in the er because of the pain. I have seen an allergist who had no idea what it could be. the rash only appears in the summer time but lasts for weeks and even months. I have many more pictures of the way it changes over time. As I said, in the beginning it looks like either, hives, poison ivy or just small itchy bumps on my skin. over time it spreads to fully cover large areas. I'm desperate to find out what it is.
