Is my skin damaged from Fan Heater?

Hi all

I hope your well.

My body is cold all year round and i think it runs in the family so i have a fan heater underneath my desk.

Recently i noticed these black lines on my legs, more on the left leg. i am scared it is something serious.

i want to post pic from phone but it says the file is too big

    You may have what is called "toasted skin syndrome". Its damage to the skin due to prolonged close heat. Not bad enough to burn the skin but its a change in the structure of the skin.If you stop using the heater now it may gradually fade but sometimes the damage can take years to fade. Its not serious.

    They could be rashes from having the heater too close to the skin. I wouldnt worry to much about them, but its possible that they could become infected. You need to get yourself to sweat more, and drink lots of fluids. Sweat glands that work properly promote heat cooling. They also are the glands that promote heat to the health system.
