So my gyno wont let me come into the office unless I need to get tested because of Covid-19. I explained my initial symptoms of a weird (not fishy) smell and no itch and swollen vulva. After sex (unprotected sex with my boyfriend of a year) there was a foul smell coming from my vagina as well. My gyno, over the phone, said it wasn't a yeast infection and that it was likely BV. I got the metrogel and took it for 5 nights. I got my period on day 2 of using the metrogel but I dont know if that matters. A week after using the metrogel I noticed the smell was still prevalent and I took some pictures of my vagina. There was white stuff on the labia. I don't know if that's discharge, smegma or something else. I decided to take Monistat-1 to see if it was indeed a yeast infection since I never actually got tested. I took the Monistat-1 about 4 days ago and the smell is not prevalent but the white stuff on my labia is still present. The picture I posted is from today. Does anyone have a clue of what's going on? I am going to call back my gyno to get tested, but I would appreciate it if anyone could give me a clue to what's going on.
