Is off balance usually caused by ear?

I have a mild off balance feeling for a while with some tension / pressure in front of head....

I also have the ringing in my ears.. but i've had that forever and never caused me problems..

It just feels like I'm a bit off balance while walking.. its not terrible.. i can drive, run , etc. without problems but its noticeable enough..

does this sound like a ear problem? or ????

I wouldn't know what this is, but the balance and ringing in ears, sound like possible Tinnitus. Have you seen a doctor?

It could be your ear. First thing I would do is get some blood work done. See about your B12 and vitamin c levels. Most likely your C is low, but that's most of us so don't freak out. If your B12 is low, that could be causing this issue. If all comes back normal you may want to for to an ENT and let them check your ears. Lightheaded could also be from the neck. I don't know if your neck hurts or feels stiff. You can look up Occipital Neuralgia and see if that might be your issues ( I believe that's my issue ) You can also look up SCM muscle issues. The SCM is in your neck. Heck, it could even be your eyes, but I would look into these other things first.

i have no neck pain or ear pain.. i had my eyes checked about 2 years ago when I updated my glasses / lenses prescription.. not sure about B12 though.. dont know why it would be low though..

I noticed it first about a week after I started having stomach problems.. I was recently diagnosed with superficial Gastritis after having an endoscopy.. so not sure if it could be relate to that.. still waiting for the biopsy to see if there is a stomach infection..

but the Dr said it was mild and didn't even recommend taking anything..
