Is possible that I got infected by rabies?

I got by a street dog 8 days ago in Varanasi.

The bite couldn't break my pants, there's no hole or scratch on it.

The skin doesn't look broken. It looks more a bit smashed (I have a picture if you need it). But I am not sure, it could be an abrasion. There was no blood at all. I also had some disinfectant after 1 hour and it didn't hurt.

I got after 4 hours the first anti-rabies shot and then I got the second one. (Same vaccine, different brands).

I am skeptical about the vaccines conservation methods here in India, but it's a personal feeling.

Is possible that I got infected by rabies?

    I think infections are likely to happen when we do not do what we need to do to maximise protection over viruses. The rabies shots help but they would help more on the skin recovery process.
