is someone on fluoxetine 5 mg only

is there someone on fluoxetine 5 mg and that is working instead of more ? as 10 mg is too much for me for the side effect, the psy lowered it but he feels like he does this just to answer my request......he does not think it can work.....

    We are advised by the Specialist the dose we need to take, it would look like the dose may be to low to work efficiently over the long/short term.

    With regards to this your dose is low, if you are having problems, side effects talk to your GP and discuss this medication as taking a dose that will not help would seem pointless and something different need to be tried.

    If you have been on various other medications, and you have passed those over over a short period you may arrive at a point where you have gone through the list.. Hopefully thia is not the case.

    You need to understand these families of medications take an extended period to work well. So side effects can be a problem during this time. Many have problems in these early times, be patient. The dose recommended is the dose we need to take

      me again haha!

      ?yes i have been through all classes, but i m persuaded i have to try a medication that has not worked before but at a different dose, prozac 5 mg is really like nothing......i post a lot in this website!smile

    Ive only ever heard of 20mg the lowest recommended dose having any effect xx
