Is there a link between metal dental fillings and lichen sclerosus?

just wondering how many of you happen to have metal dental fillings and have been diagnosed with lichen sclerosus or lichen planus. I have two metal fillings, severe allergies to nickel and was exposed to high levels of mercury at the World Trade Center after the attacks. Shortly after the attacks, I started to get white lacy patches on my tongue and very itchy bumps on my wrists and legs. I was diagnosed with lichen planus. Now years later I have lichen sclerosus. I am wondering if there is a link. I've done some research and found one study in Sweden which linked lichen sclerosus to Mercury exposure but haven't found anything else.

I don't have any metal fillings - but I do also have a metal allergy, I'd say a mild to moderate reaction to metal, not sure what type of metal it is though.
