I'm 43. Eat healthy, workout, BMI of 19, 18% body fat. Been having auto immune issues.
Recent Raynauds syndrome and seborrheic dermatitis onsets. Worried this is a sign of more serious autoimmune condition. Any diet or supplements I can take?

These are all autoimmune complaints. I'm going to make an appointment with an endocrinologist to see if they are linked. Take care.

I do believe the answer is YES.
I have been for 3 1/2 months free from gluten, legumes, sugar and since 16th november free from all grains and cow protein. I am recovering. My nails and hair as well as my weight are improving. But I am being followed by a good endo who ordered a complete blood work and supplemented me with vitamin D , k, b12, dhea, iodine, silic acid, a manipulated hormon for my hypothyroidism, digestive enzimes, probiotics, aloe vera and chlorofil. My meals are with coconut oil, olive oil, and lots of vegetables, protein and fruit with low sugar. This all together with 5mg prednisolone and 400 mg plaquinil for lupus. AI diseases begin on the gut or hormon inbalance. They do affect your brain too. Search for videos of autoimmune secrets. There are several videos witj the best doctors explaining everything in detail. With a holistic approach to fight the real causes. Hope this helps×

Thanks Margar! I do believe in the power of healthy eating. I have been thinking about avoiding gluten and sugar. I already gave up alcohol. I will definitely research this. I'm glad you are doing better!

10 years ago my doc told me I had thyroiditis. I was subclinical hyperthyroid. Went away. I started eating a lot better and exercising a lot and stopped having problems until now. I've been looking into the Gaps diet. I'm going to try that now for a couple weeks until I can see the doctor. I've been reading about Gliadin and company....Thanks.

Besides diet you have to remove all the triggers of your AI. Toxic things such as dental amalgams because of mercury, fluoride, mold, aluminium, etc. You can neutralize any release of heavy metals into your blood by suplementing with selenium, magnesium, iodine. You shall have a rotative diet. Take digestive enzymes which help reduce inflammation, seal your leaky gut using probiotics and do drink antiinflammatory herbs such as pau Darco, . Remove all the stressors and bring healing agents. Try to fasten at least 14 hours a day.it helps healing your gut. This is what i am doing...
