Is there an IOL with less positive disphotopsia than Tecnis? My doctor said that there is not a better lens to replace mine with . (I'm facing the prospect of not driving at night again or risking mine or other lives! )

See the article I posted in your other thread. This is what it says. However, keep in mind silicone lenses may have other issues.
“If that fails, the best thing to do is offer the patient a lens exchange and choose a lens that has a lower index of refraction, or one that has less surface reflectivity. In our practice, we find that the STAAR Surgical three-piece copolymer lens (Collamer) offers us the best opportunity. Additionally, a silicone intraocular lens, typically the Bausch + Lomb LI61, will improve 80 to 90 percent of patients,” Dr. Masket says.

Hi
is it a monofocal lens you have?

Which monofocal lens are you referring to?

If it had been Tecnis Symfony, there would have been a lot of lenses with less side effects.
But when you have a monofocal now, I am afraid there is no sure cure.
I have read that some have had good results with a silicone lens such as Bausch + Lomb, but I don´t think there are any guarantees.
In any case wish you the best of luck.

Have you tried diluted pilocarpine drops?

You can start of with OTC Lumify. They do have preservative in them though. If that doesn't work then low concentration alphagan and pilocarpine are the next options.

From what Ive read this is an issue for up to 1/4 IOL users. Im sure you've been told about the square shapes or the material or the surgical procedure of leaving an overlap of the anterior capsule. I guess your best choice would either be a different material as suggested.
My cataract came on quickly in less than a year and driving became very frightening. I have the technis monofocal (toric) and it greatly reduced the lights and halos and streaks. Everyone is different so I understand your search but it might not be just a switched brand but a whole new type on lens. The article I read suggested a Staar surgical 3 piece copolymer lens. You've probably found the same information. I apologize if its repetitive.
